Lucky: A Novel

Lucky: A Novel (inspired by Taylor Swift’s folklore and the incredible true story of Standard Oil heiress Rebekah Harkness) is out now!!

“Historical fiction meets contemporary fiction at the boundary of the space-time continuum.”

What would your life be like if you didn’t have to worry about money? What would your reality be like if you could do anything you ever wanted?

Lucky is a story unlike any other… a fairytale of modern times.

Inspired by 2020 Album of the Year, folklore, Lucky explores the ever-growing importance of story telling, folklore and the American Dream, and a mystical number that could be the key to understanding the universe. Lucky weaves together the stories of two powerful women: Rebekah Harkness— notorious, scandalous heiress of the Standard Oil Fortune; and Rae Harmonía— America’s favorite pop-star. Both women become rich beyond their wildest dreams… but soon come to a harrowing realization. Only the pursuit of happiness is fun. Once the dream comes true, it becomes a nightmare.

How strange reality becomes when you have everything you’ve always wanted.

Lucky is available on Shopify (hardcover) and on Amazon (paperback and ebook). It is available to read for free on Kindle Unlimited!

Holiday House is a massive saltbox mansion on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic in Watch Hill, Rhode Island and the highest residential property on the entire eastern seaboard with beachfront access. Holiday House has hosted the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Salvador Dali, Ed Sheeran, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Gigi Hadid, Ruby Rose, and countless more. Rebekah Harkness, a Gatsby-era socialite who married into the Standard Oil family (think Rockefeller-wealth), claimed this Rhode Island estate home first. Fast forward to today, Holiday House has belonged to Taylor Swift since 2013, when she bought it in cash for $17 million. She was 23 years old.
